The chili cook-off was hosted by Little Brown Church of Sunol. I was one of the volunteers and each team of cooks offered samples and I ate so much, I was sick for a few days after. It was so good! The day was rainy and cold and the chile was hot. The chili was welcome on a cold day! What does Chili have to do with horseshoeing? Not a thing! But it was a wonderful day, and fun had by all!

This is a healthy hoof, but has a large flare on the medial side of the hoof. I extracted a large rock from the dark area shown in the photograph. This is from the Whole Horse Wellness clinic. The dark spot at the toe area is the horse's pegmination.
